An Insider's Guide to Selective College Admissions

Elizabeth Heaton spent a number of years as a regional director of admissions at Penn, where she chaired selection committees for Wharton, the College of Art & Sciences, the School of Engineering, and the School of Nursing. She also served as second chair in the selection committee for Penn's Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology, evaluated potential athletic recruits, and oversaw Penn’s portfolio of admissions publications.

Now Beth is Vice President, Educational Consulting, at College Coach, a national provider of educational advisory services. She has been featured on ABC and CNBC, and in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, US News & World Report, and FOX Business, among other media outlets. The host of Getting In: A College Coach Conversation, a weekly podcast on the VoiceAmerica Network, Beth also is a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and USA Today College.
